Equipment Updates!

The mill is almost ready! We have a 13″ three roller¬†Jim Boney Malt Mill. We designed and built a custom cabinet and hopper for it. When it’s all done we should be able to mill 40 lb of malt per minute! This mill will allow us to grow without adding additional time to the brew day.

In line oxygenation! We have a 100 lb O2 tank and an inline oxygenation stone on the chilling side. So much better for the beer to be able to control the O2 rate going into the wort.

We’ll be heading to Half Way There this weekend and will be stopping by Brew Fab in St. Pete to see what they can do for us about brite tanks and a keg washer manifold.

We won’t be pouring, but be sure to visit the Brandon Bootleggers and my buddies at Hidden Springs Ale Works¬†for some terrific beer!

Coming soon: HERMS controller, more fermenters, keg washer, and brite tanks

Cheers!

Location…

We officially passed on a location this last week. It just wasn’t what would be best for the business.

We are working hard to get a place to call Rib Bone, but in the meantime we have our pilot system up and running and we are working on perfecting recipes.

Cheers!
